For the price I paid, its way too much. There are just as good monitors available for less. The stand wobbles at the slightest touch and its too low, the picture quality is good but not great. The onscreen display is very well thought out. The only cables you get are the power supply and the power cable and thats it. Nothing else. For the cost, it should have at least a DP cable. Sony missed the mark by a long way, its definitely not up to their usual standards. I had a Bravia TV that was 10 years old and that was superb, this isnt. Its OK but a very disappointing product from Sony.

Der Monitor an sich ist sehr gut. Leider ist ein Update für einen nicht Windows Besitzer fast unmöglich, wodurch das Gerät nur eingeschränkt nutzbar ist. Bild Einstellungen lassen sich nicht ändern, weil der ECO Modus immer Aktiv ist, der genau das verhindert. Dies lässt sich angeblich über eine App ändern auf die ich nicht zugreifen kann. Sowas darf meiner Meinung nach bei einem Gerät das für die PlayStation entworfen wurde nicht sein. Einstellungen müssen alle am Gerat selbst durchzuführen sein, ohne das man auf andere Geräte zurückgreifen muss. Deshalb nur 3 Sterne. Ich würde mir das Gerät nicht mehr kaufen. Bei anderen Geräten die weitaus weniger kosten geht’s schließlich auch.

Bon produit dans l'ensemble compatible 4K HDR VRR ALLM etc... Mais le prix est trop chère et impossible de régler la luminosité le contraste en mode HDR. Pensez à désactiver le mode éco sinon vous n'aurez pas au delà de 60 FPS.

Leider lässt sich mein Monitor nur im Vollbildmodus vernünftig verwenden. Wenn ich parallele Anwendungen nicht im Vollbildmodus laufen habe und eine der Anwendungen rechenintensiv ist (z.B. MS Flight Simulator 2020), dann kommt es zu sporadischen Bildunterbrüchen (schwarzes Bild) von bis zu einer Sekunde. Diesbezüglich war ich mehrere Monate mit dem Sony Support erfolglos in Kontakt, wobei die jeweiligen Antworten mit Lösungsvorschlägen teilweise einige Wochen auf sich warten lassen haben bzw. ich öfters um eine Rückmeldung bitten musste. Als es schliesslich keine Lösung gab, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass der Fehler innerhalb der technischen Spezifikationen liegt und deshalb kein Fehler vorliegt bzw. ich damit leben muss, obwohl zu Beginn ein Produktfehler attestiert wurde. Auf eine Frage nach Rückabwicklung wurde dann nicht mehr geantwortet. So habe ich zum ersten Mal erleben dürfen, wie der Sony Kundenservice bei Problemen aussieht.

Lovely screen but with one minor issue

Bought the screen a while ago and is a joy to use. Great picture, deep blacks for an IPS panel and VRR and HDR work well. The only issue is with the source identification. Doesn't recognise the source sometimes and that can be a pain. I also think I may have a dead pixel or two as I have shadowing on grey colours but fine when black. Not noticeable whilst gaming only on switch on. The stand could be better with less wobble and is style before function but works and does loom impressive. Overall pleased with my purchase just hope the warranty is beyond 1 year!

Bought this couple of weeks ago for £900. It's really poor. There is literally no point it having speakers the sound quality is so poor. The access to the inputs (HDMI etc) are really hard making it a chore to plug anything in. The picture quality is poor. I've actually reverted back to a £150 Samsung monitor and I have no idea what I'll do with this expensive piece of junk. It looks great though maybe just use it as art. I'm laughing cos otherwise i'd cry...

Bild ist absolut Perfekt 4K 120Hz mit der PS5 absolut Top. Der Monitor stellt sich von selbst ein wenn er die PS5 erkennt was es sehr einfach macht. Einziges Manko ist der Klang, man sollte schon Kopfhörer oder externe Boxen verwenden!

Im März 2023 gekauft. Das Bild ist einfach nur der Hammer. Spiele ausschließlich auf der PS5 und es sind Welten zu meinen vorherigen Monitoren. Der Klang hat für mich zwei Sterne, was in meinem Fall nicht relevant ist, da ich mit Kopfhörern zocke. Zwischendurch hatte man immer mal plötzlich für 1-2 Sekunden einen schwarzen Bildschirm mit Suche der Eingänge. Mit dem aktuellsten Update ist das nun nicht wieder vorgekommen. Das Update mit der HUB Software und Windwos hat mich Anfangs zum Wahnsinn gebracht. Nirgendwo gab es die Info, dass man am Laptop/PC die Bildschirmangabe anpassen. Dafür Sony 1 Stern! Musste man auf reddit recherchieren um Erfolg zu haben.

One or two small issues but generally good

I was looking for a good all-round monitor for productivity and gaming. I’m happy with the image quality and design for both. There seems to be a compatibility issue between my Asus NVidia GPU and this monitor when connected via HDMI, which prevents boot messages and EFI setup from being displayed (no signal is detected). Other GPUs have worked fine with this monitor, and other monitors have worked with this GPU. Connecting with a DisplayPort cable instead resolved the issue. Other monitors I’ve had switch inputs automatically much faster, and the M9 cycles slowly through the inputs when none is immediately detected which seems a little clunky. This has been improved a little by a firmware update however. Overall I’m pleased, but a little disappointed that these rough edges exist in a product from a premium brand in this price range.

Picture quality when playing games at 120fps

Everything bar the pictures while playing at 120fps is good but as soon as you turn 120fps on while gaming the picture quality goes blurry and graphics no where near as good at 60fps

Pros: + Der Bilschirm ist perfekt verpackt + Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist fast makellos (komm ich weiter unten nochmal drauf zurück) + Das Kabelmanagement ist relativ gut gelöst (abhängig davon, welche und wie viele Ports man belegen möchte) + Die Bildqualität exakt wie in der Produktbeschreibung + Die Farbqualität dynamisch, lebendig + Integrierte Lautsprecher vorhanden + Montage sehr einfach + Gamingfeatures wie diverse Fadenkreuze sind einprogrammiert + auf sinnlose Farbwechsel-LED-Spielereien wird komplett verzichtet Kontras: - Es werden weder HDMI, noch Display Port Kabel mitgeliefert - Die Klangqualität hat mich nicht überzeugt (ich brauche sie aber auch nicht) - Der Bildschirm guckt immer richtung Himmel und ist somit ein Staubfänger. Meine bisherigen Bilschirme habe ich immer leicht nach unten überkippt, damit der Monitor leicht übertrieben auf den Schreibtisch guckt. So hat sich über die Jahre so gut wie kein Staub auf dem Bildschirm abgesetzt. Da würde es schon reichen, wenn man den Bildschirm nur 1° nach unten überkippen könnte. - Und zuguterletzt nochmal zur Verarbeitungsqualität. Der große Fuß hat eine zugegebenermaßen sehr innovative und coole Lösung für das Kabelmanagement. Allerdings kriegt man nur die drei Kabel durch den Fuß, die nahe am Fuß angebracht sind. Das sind einmal die Stromversorung und zwei mal HDMI. Direkt neben HDMI liegt der Display Port Anschluss und möchte man das (nicht mitgelieferte) Kabel mit durch den Fuß ziehen, muss man das Kabel schon gut um die Ecke biegen. Dabei entsteht aber auch Druck an der Plastikverkleidung des Fußes, was wiederum für Schäden sorgen KÖNNTE. Fazit: Klare Kaufempfehlung. Ich bin sehr glücklich und zufrieden. Die Qualität ist insgesamt sehr gut und die Kontras im Grunde Kleinigkeiten.

The image quality is excellent when connected to a PS5 or PC. Setup is very straightforward the only two things letting the monitor down are the poor quality speakers and the inability to swivel the screen from side to side. For gaming headphones radically improve the experience and overcome the shortcomings of the speakers. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

In het begin was ik erg tevreden met deze monitor, maar de laatste tijd verspringt de monitor, op veel willekeurige momenten, naar ander inputs (en refresh rates). Helaas veroorzaakt dit mij veel ergernissen en ben ik nu op site van Sony beland met veel wanhoop, opzoek naar een firmware update die dit kan oplossen. Mocht dit toch niets opleveren dan moet ik vanuit mijn persoonlijke ervaring en mening, spijtig zeggen (en voelen in mijn portemonnee) dat dit product geen €1100 waard is. Misschien wel op papier vanuit de specificaties, maar in het praktijk werkt het (bij mij) niet soepel.

Impeccable pour la PS5

Après plusieurs jours de test et de réglages, j'obtiens des résultats auxquels je m'attendais pour ma console PS5. Je joue désormais en 4K 120fps constant sur les jeux qui en offrent la possibilité, c'est l'un des gros points forts grâce au port HDMI 2.1. J'ai aussi acheté un câble sous licence PlayStation pour compléter le tout. Je ne suis pas déçu. Seul inconvénient est qu'il faut un ordinateur pour paramétrer avec Inzone HUB et effectuer les mises à jour. Sinon le reste est parfait.

La verdad que se ve estupendo. Tiene un brillo muy superior al resto de los pocos competidores que tiene en este rango de caracteristicas, el HDR en rango panel IPS es superior al resto ( HDR 600 ) ya que da mas brillo que sus competidores, me atreveria a decir que tiene mas brillo que 600cd. Pero… tiene zonas oscuras en los bordes cuando la pantalla esta en blanco total son minimas pero las hay, pero en calidad de imagen color tiene un 95% DCI-P3 y se ve de INCREIBLE. la peana es muy bonita pero no es tan robusta y se balanzea al manipular, aunque una vez puesta no hay problemas claro esta.. Al cambiar de fuente es bastante lenta en encontrar la señal a ver si con una actualizacion lo corrigen . Por lo demas decir que el precio es inflado, tendria que valer de salida 900€ pero si lo quieres pues lo pagas. Recomiendo su compra ya que es el monitor perfecto para la PS5, enchufar y pista se configura y detecta solo todo. Recordar quitar el modo bajo consumo ya que limita de serie los HZ a 60 dato importante la primera vez que lo instalas

Toller Monitor mit ESport Potenzial

Top Gaming Monitor der richtig Laune macht. Bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten ein guter Kauf. Die Beanstandung: Die Klangqualität der Boxen ist nicht zu gebrauchen um Musik zu hören. Für ca. 1000CHF naja..... aber stört mich als ambitionierter Gamer auch nicht weiter. Die Benutzerfreundlichkeit des Joysticks und OSD Menu ist OK. Der Ecomodus scheint mir etwas lästig zu sein, da dieser wahrscheinlich eh nie gebraucht wird und manche Funktionen nicht zulässt und mühsam ist ein und abzuschalten. Wenn z.B HDR aktiv ist kann man diesen per Bildschirm auch nicht wieder aktivieren, sondern muss HDR ausschalten am Pc oder Konsole um diesen am Bildschirm wieder brauchen zu können. Dasselbe gilt für mehrere Einstellungen auch im App Inzone Game Hub (Windows) Ist HDR aktiviert, lassen sich mehrere Funktionen nicht per App verändern. Dasselbe gilt für die Ps5 mit HDR Setting on. Bildmodusauswahl bleibt auf dem letzten stehen und kann nicht geändert werden: zwar kann Auswahlmodus von "automatisch erkennen" zu "voreingestellt" (preset) werden (Cinema / Game 1 /Game 2/ FPS Shooter/ Standard) bringt aber nichts da man sie nicht auswählen kann...... Somit kein Shortswitch von voreingestellten Bildmodi möglich! Der Gameassistant mit dem Responsetimesetting (normal/ Fast /Faster ) ist merklich eine Veränderung für den Input bringt dir etwas mehr Feingefühl im Shootergenre. Die Local Dimming Optionen : Off / Low / High machen das Bild lebendig und heben Bewegende und beleuchtete Objekte sichtbar hervor. Für ein möglichst flüssiges Spiel in (Shooter Infight Actions) scheint es mir am besten auf Off gestellt zu sein. (PS5) Sowie die Auswahl von Bildeinstellung vom Seitenverhältnis scheint mir in der Manuellen Einstellung 16:9 schöner und mit weniger Inputlag zu funktionieren als Automatische Auswahl..komisch.... Ja der Input-Lag hätte ich gerne wirklich noch etwas nahtloser , damit sich das Handling wirklich noch mehr vom Controller auf den Bildschirm "zaubern" liesse. Eventuell mit einem kürzeren richtig guten 0.5 m Hdmi Kabel als das Ps5 original , das im Lieferumfang hätte dabei sein können. (Sind nicht alle gleich zum spielen.....) Die KVM Switches im USB HUB Menu (Keyboard Video Mouse) die am Bildschirm angeschlossen werden zur Steuerung mehrerer angeschlossener Geräte PC/ Konsole habe ich noch nicht testen können. Anleitung scheint mir sehr kompliziert geschrieben zu sein.... ohne einfaches Beispiel wie die Switches richtig eingestellt werden und von PS5 auf Pc Bild gewechselt und weiter bedient werden kann. Zum Schluss..... Leider weiss ich immer noch nicht trotz irrsinnig langem Probieren den Inzone m9 auf eine neue Software Version abzudaten. Mit dem App INZONE (Windows) und der nicht beschriebenen richtigen Einstellung der KVM Switches (Welche diese auch sein mögen.... nicht gefunden) um den nötigen nötigen USB Upstream Link herzustellen, welcher mit einem USB-C ?? Kabel auf den Computer gehen soll?? Furchtbar und auch mit falschen Links zu Fernseher Updates mit Fernbedienung verlinkt beschrieben in der Hilfe Web Anleitung vom m90. Das INZONE App zeigt mir Leider nicht an ob die Software mit M006 Sub 203 aktuell ist oder nicht...... oder ob eine Verbindung hergestellt wurde oder nicht.... Das wäre sehr hilfreich. Hoffe das die Updates hier noch etwas mehr rausholen können. Trotz diesen Debakel sagt er mir je längers desto mehr zu. Im allgemeinen meiner Meinung nach ein Top Gaming Monitor Momentane 8 / 10 Sternen. Fazit: Empfehlenswert. Liebe Grüsse Flying-Fox (Gt-Sport)

Für den Monitor und seine Leistung würde ich eigentlich 5 Sterne geben. Jedoch hat er kleine Mängel in der Verarbeitung die jedoch nicht jedem auffallen würden. Mein Monitor hat 3-4 Subpixelfehler in der oberen Bildschirmhälfte. Diese sind jedoch nur bei genauem Hinsehen bei hellen Hintergründen zu sehen. Bei normalem Abstand sind diese nicht auszumachen. Man sollte auch bedenken, dass sowas bei solch einer hohen Pixelzahl und Dichte kaum zu verhindern ist. Bei solch einem Preis erwartet man dennoch ein Perfektes Produkt.

Gekauft, ausprobiert und leider wieder zurück gesendet. Ich hatte den Monitor neben meinem 400 Euro Gaming Monitor aufgebaut und gesehen, dass der Sony merklich dunkler war und sehr ähnliche Probleme mit der Ausleuchtung und Darstellung hat. Deshalb war mir das für den Preis zu teuer. Ich hätte gerne einen 4k Monitor mit 120 Hz und zahle auch etwas mehr, aber dann muss die Qualität stimmen im Vergleich zu anderen Monitoren. Und das hat es leider nicht. Schade

Grandiose Bildqualität

Vorweg: Ich besitze den Eve Spectrum 4k und den Neo G7. 2 grandiose Monitore. Und trotzdem behalte ich den M9 von Sony. Warum? Weil es der einzige Monitor auf der Bildqualitätsebene ist, der mit der Inzone Software per Windows gesteuert werden kann. Jeder Mac-User vermisst die einfache Bildschirmeinstellung, wenn man Inder Windows und dessen Perepherie-Welt unterwegs ist. Endlich kann ich per Mausklick das Bild optimieren wie ich es brauche. Und das Bild ist das beste was ich je gesehen habe in einem Monitor. Und das obwohl er eine Matte Oberfläche hat! Die Farben sind so lebendig wie ich es in all den Konkurrenten von LG, uvm. niemals erlebt habe. Zudem gibt es Lautsprecher, was bei Gamingmonitoren oft nicht der Fall ist. Ja, die taugen nun wirklich nicht viel. Aber um kurz YouTube zu schauen und ganz vorallem als Test ob die Tonausgabe überhaupt läuft ein prima Feature. Anschlüsse sind alle da, der KVM Switch ist perfekt. Einzig mehr Power Delivery über USB-C wäre wünschenswert. Hier ist der EVE klar im Vorteil. Der geht allerdings nicht so tief wie der Sony mit seinem etwas anderen Standfuß. Für mich am Anfang ein Grund gewesen skeptisch zu sein, aber nun liebe ich ihn! Also: Perfekter! Monitor auch absolut ohne Mini-LED seinen Preis wert. Jeder der spielt, Filme mit Qualität genießen möchte, die super Pixeldichte auf 27zoll für die Arbeit schätzt, der einen Mac hat und bisher auf jedem anderen nicht Apple Monitor die lebhaften Farben vermisst hat, dem kann ich diesen Monitor wirklich nur empfehlen. Achja und für die PS5 ist er ebenso perfekt.

Hooked the screen up to my PS5 and was very impressed with the image quality. I mainly bought this screen for the 120Hz feature but I was having difficulty getting it to work. After speaking to Playstation on the phone followed by Sony, they told me that to activate 120Hz I needed to disable ECO mode on the screen. There was no mention of this within the manual or on the information displayed when toggling ECO mode on/off. I fear that a lot of people are going to have this issue so thought I'd mention it on the review as once it's all working as intended it is a very good screen.

Toller Start, aber nicht zu empfehlen

Nachdem ich den Sony Inzone M9 Monitor (SDM-U27M90) 3 Tage lang benutzt habe und ihn für PC-Spiele und Arbeit unter MacOS verwendet habe, muss ich ihn leider zurückgeben. Die FALD-Implementierung ist nicht gut genug für den Einsatz beim Spielen und Arbeiten. Bei normalem Gebrauch sieht man leicht die Schatten der vertikalen Zonen. Dies sieht wie vertikale Balken auf dem Monitor aus, und ich habe es leicht bemerkt, wenn ich eine Anwendung/Website mit weißem oder grauem Hintergrund verwendet habe. Ich denke, dass dies auf die Art und Weise zurückzuführen ist, wie FALD (Full Array Local Dimming) auf diesem Monitor implementiert ist. Dies führt zu einem schmutzigen Bildschirmeffekt (DSE), und die Anzeige des Monitors sieht insgesamt nicht einheitlich aus, was bedeutet, dass Websites und Anwendungen immer ein wenig unscharf aussehen. Dieses Problem wurde auch im Test von Verge erwähnt, und mein Modell hatte definitiv das gleiche Problem. Für meine Arbeit (UI/UX-Design) und regelmäßiges Surfen im Internet ist dies eine unglaubliche Enttäuschung und ein zu eklatantes Problem, um diesen Monitor zu verwenden. Das ist wirklich schade, denn der Monitor sieht beim Spielen fantastisch aus, besonders bei Spielen wie Red Dead Redemption 2 und Star Wars Battlefront 2. Die Farben sind sehr lebendig, die tiefen Schwarztöne und das helle Weiß. Dinge wie Explosionen, Schüsse, Brände und die Sonne im Spiel sehen unglaublich gut aus. Während des Spielens habe ich das bereits erwähnte FALD/DSE-Problem kaum bemerkt. Ich konnte die vertikalen Linien nur leicht wahrnehmen, wenn ich bei bestimmten Lichtverhältnissen schnell herumschwenkte. Im Grunde genommen kein Problem bei Spielen, aber unglaublich auffällig bei der normalen Computernutzung. Wenn Sie diesen Monitor für Ihr MacBook Pro in Betracht ziehen, ist er auch nicht so großartig, wie er auf dem Papier erscheinen mag. Der USB-C-Ausgang hat nur 15 W, Sie können also nicht ein Kabel zum Aufladen und für die Videoausgabe verwenden; Sie müssen ein Ladekabel und ein USB-C- (DP-Alternativmodus)/Videokabel verwenden. Aus irgendeinem Grund, zumindest mit einem USC-C-Kabel (DP-Alternativmodus), fühlte sich der Monitor nicht sehr reaktionsschnell an, egal was ich versuchte. Er kann mit bis zu 144hz laufen, aber das Ziehen von Fenstern und normale Interaktionen in MacOS fühlen sich einfach nicht so reaktionsschnell an. Vielleicht fühlt es sich nur schlechter an, weil der DSE-Effekt sehr ausgeprägt ist, wenn man etwas auf dem Bildschirm bewegt. Verglichen mit dem eingebauten Bildschirm eines MacBook Pro 16" sieht der Inzone M9 viel "matschiger" und dunkler aus, ganz zu schweigen davon, dass die Farben ohne Kalibrierung gelber sind. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass dieser Monitor für Spiele im Vergleich zu einem normalen IPS-Panel wirklich großartig aussieht. Aber bei der Arbeit, beim Surfen im Internet und bei der Nutzung von MacOS stören der Dirty-Screen-Effekt und die sichtbaren vertikalen Balken das Erlebnis. Und wie bei den meisten Monitoren ist der eingebaute Sound furchtbar und das Design des Standfußes ist nicht nützlich. Man sollte einfach einen Monitorarm kaufen oder ihn an der Wand befestigen. Ich kann diesen Monitor mit diesen eklatanten Problemen für 1100 EUR nicht empfehlen.
