Die Hülle ist ganz okay. Die Aufstellfunktion klappt einwandfrei und macht auch einen soliden Eindruck. Die ganze Haptik ist eigentlich sehr schön. Sie fasst sich gut an und hat ein schönes Finish. Jetzt der Nachteil, die Hülle schützt fast nur die Ecken, die langen Seiten des Xperia 1 III liegen offen und komplett ungeschützt. Das muss grade auf der Seite, auf der keine Tasten sind nicht sein. Außerdem ist es für mich sehr schade, dass Sony keine Klapphülle mehr anbietet, wie noch die SCR46 für das Z5 Premium.

Sony must do better

This cover seems to be well designed, and as it is made by Sony for Sony, you expect it to be one of the best designs available for the Xperia 1 III phone. Unfortunately it has a number of design flaws, which given the very high price for the cover, circa £35, you expect it to be flawless in design. The kickstand came off easily, and it got lost within 2 weeks of use. The kickstand flexes and can barely take the weight of the phone it was supposedly designed to support. The cover split/cracked apart on the first drop. The drop did seem to protect the phone, but th cover effectively broke; at £35 this means each drop can be very costly. I repaired the split/crack with super glue, but each minor drop cause it to split apart at the same place. The split happens at the top right corner of the cover.
