Good afternoon. Please give the ATK drivers for vpceh3j1r (white). I can not find them.

Where can I get a full driver package when buying a laptop bundled with it was the disc.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi BuverAMG,

All of the original drivers and any updates can be downloaded from the following link.

    http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/VPCEH3J1E_W/updates

If you cannot find what you are looking for there then please explain the problem you are experiencing and someone may be able to help.

If you have installed a retail version of the OS then first make sure that the SFEP driver  is installed correctly - this needs to be installed from within Device Manager using the 'Have Disk' method.

Then install Sony Shared Library and Sony Notebook Utilities.

I'm not sure why you are receiving that message as the vpceh3 is listed as supported.

Can you let us know whether you are using the originally installed OS? If not have you installed all drivers available for your model including the SFEP Driver and Sony Shared Library?

Can you check in the BIOS that the correct model number and serial number are recorded?

Also try resting the BIOS to defaults.

I’m not certain what the problem is but I suspect that it could be connected with the installation of Win 7 Ultimate.

You could try contacting Support but as they will only offer service for the original operating system this may not be productive but worth a try.

There is another almost identical thread running and it may be worth watching this to see whether the suggestions made solved the issue.

This growing problem has been escalated to Support. Please keep an eye on the following thread for updates.

    Hi BuverAMG,

I'm not sure that I understand your question but if you are looking to download recovery disks this is not possible. I assume that you didn't create these prior to installing the new OS?

If your recovery partition is intact you should be able to recover your system to factory defaults by tapping F10 at boot - this should open the recovery utility.

If that fails you could order a set of recovery disks from Support but there is a charge...
