Hi everyone,

I've a model Sony Vaio PCG71811M that won't powerup with the power button. All I can do is to power-up with the Assist button, then choose to reboot windows from the options.

Windows 7 boot normally then, but still the power button doesn't seem to have any effect when pressed: doesn't stops, ibernate or shut-down. The only thing that happens when the button is pressed are the green led on front turning on, that's all.

Does enyone ever experienced a similar problem ? Can be an hardware problem on the button itself ?
