What I always do is to play Youtube videos via my PC where it is connected to my Bravia HD TV. it seems like it is working for me just fine.

Check for Windows driver updates. Windows 7 will be the one to find the right driver you need. All you have to do is download it and install.

I had the same problem 2 days ago. It has been fixed when I restart my PC. Everything went back to normal. A bit weird though.

Are you sure it has a built-in microphone? Have you tried using a different microphone and see if it will work?

Same problem happened to me in the past. What I did is I simply reset my Walkman and it automatically rebooted. There are some times where I didn't lose my files, but most of the time, I did.
